Choosing a DaVinci Resolve Training Program
Compare mass-market Resolve courses with 1:1 mentorship. When to buy a training program and what working editors should look for.
Courses vs mentorship
Recorded courses teach the interface to many students at once. They work when you are new and need breadth. They fail when you already deliver client or channel work and need feedback on your actual timeline, rates, and workflow leaks.
The EditEase Creator Accelerator is mentorship with Rob Creates: weekly 1-hour calls, async edit reviews, Resolve workflow audits, and weekday support—not modules to binge alone.
What to look for before you buy
Ask whether the program reviews your projects, names a clear time commitment, and is run by someone actively cutting in Resolve today. Avoid vague “masterclass” promises without deliverables.
Founding members lock a monthly rate after a short minimum commitment. Book a strategy call to see if your current projects fit.
